INT. PELICAN PARK - DAY
We find ourselves back in the chaotic world of Pelican Park, where outcasts and misfits fight for their dignity and the right to exist.
TOM (voiceover)
Another denizen, FRANK, had confronted the council worker who was taking photos of his van. Frank wasn't going to stand idly by.
EXT. PELICAN PARK - DAY
FRANK, a grizzled man with unkempt hair and a scruffy beard, confronts the COUNCIL WORKER, a middle-aged man in a bright orange vest with a camera in hand.
FRANK
(angry)
Rangers chase humans now like they used to chase feral dogs, huh?
COUNCIL WORKER
(defensively)
I'm just doing my job, mate. We have to keep an eye on what's happening in the park.
FRANK
(snorts)
Yeah? Well, maybe you should learn to treat people like people, not animals.
The COUNCIL WORKER shifts uncomfortably but remains silent, realizing that Frank has a point.
EXT. PELICAN PARK - DAY
TOM, DOUG, ANDY, and SAMUEL, the Border Collie, gather around a small fire, where they share a meal provided by the Breakfast Club van. They're discussing the confrontation between Frank and the council worker.
DOUG
(relieved)
Good on Frank for standing up to that guy. We can't let them push us around.
TOM
(nods)
Absolutely. We have rights, too. We deserve to be treated with respect.
ANDY
(smiling)
Frank's got some fire in him. It's about time someone showed those rangers we won't be intimidated.
As they continue to talk, the group is galvanized by the idea of fighting back against the injustices they face. They realize that they are not alone and that together, they can make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others in Pelican Park.
FADE OUT.
