INT. PELICAN PARK - DAY
The confrontation between the residents and the Rangers continues, both sides unwilling to back down. Suddenly, a POLICE car arrives on the scene, and two SOCIAL WORKERS from The Breakfast Club, LISA and JULIE, step out. They are wearing their signature aprons, adorned with the words "The Breakfast Club."
LISA
(raising her hands)
Alright, everyone, let's just calm down for a moment.
JULIE
(looking around)
We understand there's been some tension here, but we need to find a peaceful resolution.
The residents and Rangers cease their arguing, focusing their attention on Lisa and Julie.
LISA
Now, we've received some good news. The council has decided to grant all of you a temporary reprieve. You'll be allowed to stay in Pelican Park for now, and we'll be working together to find a more permanent solution.
The residents exchange looks of relief and gratitude. The Rangers, however, seem less than thrilled.
JULIE
Furthermore, the council has sent over some umbrellas and outdoor seating for everyone to enjoy. Let's work together to create a more harmonious environment in Pelican Park.
The police officers step forward, ensuring that the Rangers do not try to escalate the situation further. With the support of the Breakfast Club social workers and the police, the residents of Pelican Park feel a renewed sense of hope.
FADE OUT.
