INT. PELICAN PARK - DAY
The residents are still gathered, talking amongst themselves after their discussion with Ranger 2. They notice a group of RANGERS approaching, this time accompanied by a tow truck.
RANGER 3
(smirking)
Well, well, well. Look at this bunch of degenerates. Time to clean up the park, don't you think?
The residents grow uneasy, sensing the hostility in the Ranger's tone.
FRANK
(defensive)
We just had a conversation with one of your colleagues about working together. We're trying to find a solution here.
RANGER 3
(scoffing)
That's cute. But it doesn't change the fact that there are dumped cars here. It's time to get rid of these eyesores and make room for people who actually contribute to society.
The other RANGERS chuckle and snicker as they watch the tow truck start to haul away some of the abandoned vehicles. The residents become angry and frustrated, feeling disrespected and belittled.
DOUG
(shouting)
You treat us like we're nothing, but we're human beings just like you! You're the ones acting like wankers, not us!
The confrontation escalates as the residents rally together, demanding fair treatment and respect. The tension between the two groups reaches a boiling point, with both sides refusing to back down.
FADE OUT.
