INT. DOUG'S VAN - DAY

Doug, Tom, and the rest of the Pelican Park denizens gather in Doug's van, excitedly discussing their recent victory. Tom has successfully used the legal loophole concerning the rights of First Nation people from Arnhem Land to secure their right to stay in Pelican Park.

TOM

(smiling)

Guys, we've done it. The council has agreed to leave us alone, acknowledging our right to live in our traditional ways, just like the wildlife around us - the dolphins, sharks, bull sharks, pelicans, seagulls, magpies, and crows.

DOUG

(grinning)

I can't believe we've found this loophole, and it actually worked! We're finally free to exist here without constant harassment.

The group nods in agreement, their spirits lifted by this small victory.

ANDY

(enthusiastic)

Now that we have the council off our backs, we can focus on making this place a haven for everyone, where we can coexist peacefully with the wildlife.

The group starts brainstorming ideas on how to improve their living conditions while respecting the environment and the wildlife around them.

EXT. PELICAN PARK - DAY

The Pelican Park denizens, now free from the council's persecution, come together to clean the area, plant trees, and create a more sustainable and eco-friendly environment. They work tirelessly, united in their desire to protect their newfound freedom and to live in harmony with nature.

As they work, they can't help but notice the wildlife flourishing around them, seemingly in support of their efforts.

INT. DOUG'S VAN - NIGHT

Doug, Tom, and the others sit around a makeshift fire, celebrating their small victory and the community they've built. They share stories and laughter, their voices blending with the sounds of the wild creatures outside - a testament to their resilience and their determination to exist in a world that had cast them aside.

FADE OUT.
