INT. PELICAN PARK - DAY

Tom, with a determined look, clenches his fists as he prepares to have a conversation with the Moreton Bay Shire. He thinks about his experience fishing for crocs in Arnhem Land and how it has helped him understand the rights of Indigenous people.

TOM

(voice trembling with anger)

These council bastards have no idea who they're messing with. I may not be Indigenous, but I've spent enough time with them to know what our rights are. And I'm not about to let them trample all over us!

Doug listens intently, his eyes widening with each revelation.

DOUG

(whispering)

I didn't know we had such rights. We should use this knowledge to our advantage, man. Fight back against these soulless bureaucrats!

Tom nods, the fire in his eyes growing more intense.

EXT. PELICAN PARK - DAY

Tom picks up his phone, his fingers flying across the screen as he types an impassioned message to the Moreton Bay Shire.

TOM (voiceover)

According to the constitution, anyone of Indigenous origin is entitled to fish without a license and camp on council land. You've been harassing us, violating our rights, and treating us like second-class citizens. This ends now. We demand respect and recognition!

He hits send, the message soaring through the digital void like a flaming arrow, aimed directly at the heart of the oppressive Moreton Bay Shire.

FADE OUT.

INT. PELICAN PARK - NIGHT

The motley crew of misfits and outcasts huddle together, their spirits lifted by Tom's actions. They gather around a small fire, the flames casting eerie shadows across their faces.

DOUG

(to Tom)

Thank you for standing up for us. I've never felt this kind of support before.

TOM

(smiling)

We're in this together, man. We've got each other's backs, and we won't back down. The Moreton Bay Shire has no idea what kind of fight they've started.

The group nods in agreement, their resolve strengthened by the knowledge that they have a champion in Tom, who is willing to take on the establishment in their quest for dignity, respect, and the right to live their lives in peace.

FADE OUT.
