Ivan is currently homeless and fled to Adelaide,

South Australia this year after experiencing a

significant breakdown with family members. He lives

in a rental car which is causing him significant stress

and safety concerns. Ivan has relocated twice in the

last few months and relies significantly on his NDIS

plan to fund supports to help him cope with daily

living activities and access appointments. He is

vulnerable in the community because he relies on

support and has experienced a number of

unregistered providers who have taken advantage of

Ivan’s situation. He requires urgent support and

assessment around his living needs, support with his

communication and behaviour which can result in

breakdown of relationships and support services,

replenishment of health professional funding,

Specialist Support Coordination funding and new

funding areas in his NDIS plan with Disability

Employment Supports, Independent Living Options

exploration, Capacity Building Social and Community

Participation for skill building in social groups and

increased support worker funding as per
