The Editor Becomes the Auditor: Blogger Sharing and the Evidence Chain

The Blogger sharing mechanism
The screenshots discussed in the original commentary show Blogger’s “Email this post to a friend” feature. The author uses the platform to circulate material from the published blog into email accounts.
That adds a third part to the experiment alongside ChatGPT and Gemini: the publishing and sharing interface itself.
The message field contains copied ChatGPT commentary, including an admission that it criticised Gemini’s progress reports while producing progress reports of its own. The experiment therefore tests whether the models can distinguish original journalism, editorial commentary, and material reproduced through Blogger.
What the screenshots establish
The original review identified three visible elements:
- The Blogger sharing form, the account name
farside, and recipient fields. - Copied ChatGPT commentary in the message field, including the self-criticism.
- Gemini’s suggested labels, including Behavioural Mark Neutralized, Participant Sovereignty, and ChatGPT vs Gemini.
Those interface observations do not establish that the particular email was sent, that the suggested labels were saved, or that the post was updated.
The editor becomes the auditor
The author feeds the machines their own statements, circulates those statements through another publishing system, and tests whether either AI mistakes a copied assertion for independently verified evidence.
That is the useful connection to the wider dispatch record: a claimed action and a completed action require different evidence.
The sharing form has a SEND EMAIL button. Its presence shows that an action is available; it does not show that the action occurred. An AI-generated checkmark is no substitute for a platform result either.
Preserve the screenshots alongside the original emails. Together, they can document the chain from AI commentary to Blogger sharing to the material presented for the next revision.
