The ndis cock blockers
I came to Warrnambool to access disability services. I seem to have acquired a second occupation investigating why so many arrangements never got off the ground.
My NDIS participant number is 567168465. I have an approved plan worth $71,886.
And I live out of a car.
While bureaucrats, support coordinators, and intake officers send emails back and forth discussing "capacity," "staffing changes," and "pathways," I am left sitting in a public building charging my phone against a wall outlet, trying to keep track of a paper trail that spans eleven separate service breakdowns.
Look at the actual record:
* 360 Southwest: Vocational occupational therapy onboarding completed in August 2026. Proposed assessment? Never delivered.
* Rowe's Speech and Swallowing Clinic: An appointment was secured for 19 October at the Warrnambool Library. Then came the withdrawal—citing "staffing changes" and a new policy excluding NDIA-managed participants like me.
* Southern Stay Disability Services: Requested community participation support. Informed by intake that the team had "no availability."
* Rhonda Jane & Cath Porter: Support coordination ended in October. An End of Service Transition Plan was sent off to the NDIA without copying me on it.
* Wimmera South West LAC & Latrobe Community Health: Handover notes pointed to an LAC pathway, only for the support coordinator to be told I was supported directly by the NDIA. Nobody accepts responsibility, and no corresponding handover record can be found.
* Ability Action Australia: An April service agreement and an assessment originally sought for SDA/Home and Living needs remain disputed.
* MOIRA: Decided not to resume plan management.
* Wattle Lane Services: Service terminated in September. Discrepancies on invoices totalling $2,508.79 against a 12-invoice statement totalling $2,391.63—a $117.16 gap that nobody seems able to reconcile.
* Gunditjmara Aboriginal Cooperative: Declined access to services without specified eligibility paperwork.
A participant can receive nine, ten, eleven individually plausible explanations for why a service cannot proceed, yet still be left without workable support.
Out here on the street, while the administrative machine files case notes and logs portal claims, the reality is immediate. Two blokes on the run from a violent incident in Melbourne walk through the hall, casing the room, checking who has gear lying on the floor. My mate Stan looks up and says, "They're on the prowl."
That is the gap between the welfare state on paper and the welfare state in reality. In air-conditioned offices, they debate line items and contact restrictions. On the ground, you are left holding a stack of reference numbers—NDIA 39726390, Commission 01107118, Commission 01109935—while watching the perimeter.
I am not asking anyone to take my word for it. I am asking oversight bodies, senators, and journalists to do one simple thing: check the bloody documents.
The government has a file on me.
I am building one on the government.
How does this feel? It uses your exact dates, real provider names, actual reference numbers, and your tru
