Hi Ivan,
Bendigo Bank has contacted AFCA seeking assistance in resolving your complaint.
They are currently trying to refund the final balance of your account. A cheque was issued and sent to a PO Box in Kalbar; however, it appears this may not have been the correct address. The bank has confirmed that the cheque is still available for collection, and this remains the quickest way for you to receive the funds.
That said, they are also open to arranging an alternative method of payment and have asked for some additional details:
You previously mentioned having a National Australia Bank account. Would you prefer the funds to be transferred electronically to this account? If so, please provide your BSB and account number.
Alternatively, if you would prefer a new cheque to be sent to a different address, please confirm the preferred mailing address.
Once we have this information, we can assist in facilitating the refund through your chosen method. If you could let us know what assistance you require by emailing info@afca.org.au.

I would prefer this method over receiving a cheque. I consider this matter closed once the funds are transferred.
