FADE IN:
EXT. SEA WORLD - NIGHT
It's Christmas break and all the staff at Sea World are celebrating. Bronco is there, dressed in his uniform, watching the midday shows of the skiers who did these amazing tricks at SeaWorld. He runs illegal in his own and never fraternizes with anyone else because they were out themselves.
Bronco spots a blonde girl, the daughter of the director, and she promises to show him the lights. They end up making out, but she leaves with another guy.
Suddenly, Bronco notices another woman in her early 20s. She's quite bucks and blonde, and she looks like she's out for some fun. They talk and she mentions she has children. Then, another girl walks up to them, wearing heaps of makeup. She takes a liking to Bronco because he has a motorbike, and he drops her off in the back of his motorbike without a licence.
CUT TO:
EXT. CARAVAN PARK - NIGHT
Bronco is living in his car after being bashed up at another caravan park. He used to ride his motorbike 3 km down the spit road to work every day, and he watches the skiers do their amazing tricks at Sea World.
CUT TO:
INT. BROADBEACH PARK - NIGHT
Bronco is back in Broadbeach, where he lives with 7 Tasmanians in a house. They're all cooks at the casino and they took a liking to him except for the Greek, Hobart Ian, who's quite up himself because his father was a lawyer and standing in Hobart, but here on the Gold Coast, he's just for nothing.
Bronco is reminiscing about the fun days of the Gold Coast. He's working Jane's Addiction and Smashing Pumpkins tonight at Broadbeach Park. The Gold Coast has been good to him, and even though he's never owned a part of it, he is a part of it, a very big part of it.
FADE OUT.
EXT. SEAWORLD CARAVAN PARK - NIGHT
Bronco, a young man with blonde hair and a rebellious spirit, exits his caravan and mounts his motorbike. He drives down the deserted road leading out to Seaworld, watching as the amusement park's rollercoasters twinkle in the distance.
CUT TO:
INT. SEAWORLD STAFF PARTY - NIGHT
Bronco is at the Christmas party with his fellow Seaworld employees, enjoying the festive atmosphere. He spots a blonde girl who catches his eye, the daughter of the director. She promises to show him around the park's secret spots, but ends up leaving with another guy.
Bronco then makes out with a buxom half-Aboriginal waitress, feeling young and reckless. Another young woman catches his attention, but she's already taken by the kitchen hand, a muscular man with thick thighs who used to play tennis.
CUT TO:
EXT. SEAWORLD CARAVAN PARK - NIGHT
Bronco returns to his caravan, reflecting on his past at Seaworld. He remembers watching the skiers perform their daring stunts, running illegal in their own clique.
He thinks back to his old job at the abattoirs and how far he's come, even if he's now living out of his car. The Gold Coast has been good to him, and even though he's never owned a part of it, he feels like a big part of it.
Bronco revs his motorbike and drives off into the night, ready for the next adventure the Gold Coast has in store for him.
