GPT Chat 3.5 Version, I'll add in Bing AI and GPT 4 version in following posts

As I sit here, reflecting on my life, I can't help but think about my parents and their journey to Australia. My mother never wanted to be sick. She was here to make a go of it, just like so many other immigrants who came to this country in search of a better life.

My father was a bricklayer, and that was his ticket out of Yugoslavia. They landed in Wollongong, an intern camp for immigrants. I can only imagine what it must have been like for them, arriving in a foreign land with nothing but their hopes and dreams.

Despite the challenges they faced, my parents were determined to succeed. They worked hard, saved their money, and built a life for themselves and their family. And now, as their child, I am proud to carry on their legacy.

But as I look to the future, I can't help but wonder what lies ahead. What does it mean to be a second-generation Australian? What is my place in this country, and how can I contribute to its future?

These are questions that I am still trying to answer. But one thing is certain: I will always be grateful for the sacrifices my parents made to give me the opportunities I have today. And as I continue on my journey, I will carry their spirit with me every step of the way.

In many ways, my story is like that of Christy Brown in "My Left Foot." Like him, I was born into a family of modest means, with a disability that could have held me back. But also like him, I was blessed with the love and support of my family, who helped me to overcome my challenges and find my voice.

And like "Arrow in the Blue" and "A Veritable Feast," my memoir will be a celebration of my heritage and my journey. It will be a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, and a reminder that we all have the power to shape our own destinies.

So as I embark on this new chapter of my life, I do so with a sense of purpose and a deep appreciation for the journey that has brought me here. And I look forward to sharing my story with others, in the hopes that it may inspire them to find their own voice and make their own mark on the world.
