Dear Mr Brecelic
RE: YOUR COMPLAINT
Thank you for your emails of 27 June and 8 July 2025 in which you raise concerns about a variety of parties.
The material you have submitted is difficult to follow, appearing to contain content of communications between 3 separate individuals, and apparently raising concerns regarding Bendigo Bank and potentially raising concerns regarding the Queensland Police Service (QPS), and seeking to make Right to Information (RTI) requests.
Under our legislation, the Crime and Corruption Act 2001, the Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC) can only deal with conduct that occurs in, or affects, the Queensland public sector. The public sector generally includes Queensland government departments, the Queensland Police Service, councils, public hospitals and health services, and publicly funded universities. Bendigo Bank is not part of the Queensland public sector. For that reason, the CCC has no authority to investigate it cannot take any action in relation to you concerns with Bendigo Bank.
Please see this QPS resource for information on submitting RTI requests.
Further information
To help you understand the role and scope of the CCC, I have included some information that I hope you find useful:
- some information from our website that explains what matters the CCC deals with; and
If you wish to raise an allegation of corrupt conduct or police misconduct against officers of the QPS, please clearly identifyy:
- What you are specifically alleging
- Who you are raising these allegations against; and
- A brief explanation of the circumstances surrounding the allegation/s being made and evidence substantiating the allegation/s, summarised in two A4 pages or less.
The CCC can accept complaints via:
1. Our online complaint lodgement form
2. Telephone: (07) 3360 6060
3. Email: complaints@ccc.qld.gov.au
Please note it is not appropriate to include the CCC in email correspondence to other parties. This is partly because correspondence of this nature can cause the CCC difficulty in understanding your concerns and can significantly delay processing of your matter. In the future we ask that you please refrain for copying the CCC on communications to other parties, and instead complete our complaint lodgement form. This form asks relevant questions to assist us in our assessment of your concerns.
