Over a decade, and I had only been up to Lancelin.
I received a frosty reception after knocking on someone’s door.
He didn’t want solar.
I didn’t want to be here.
I had never been to Surf Rock.
A bit too main stream for me.
This tour was about staying on the paved road and exploring.
I had an idea of going around Australia.
Who gets a chance to drive around Australia.
My path kind of zig zagged around the country.
The miles, when added up, would be about the same if I drove around Australia on the best paved roads.
I’d have to do the maths.
The deserts were fantastic.
Hardly any coppers. Well actually, none.
I didn’t see any from Carnarvan onwards.
The pigs don’t like the desert.
They like their pig troughs on main and populated highways.
That much I learnt.
